The porta group has acquired Möbel Letz GmbH ("Letz") from its managing partners Mario Letz and Kai Blüthgen. While Mario Letz retires, Kai Blüthgen will remain Letz's Managing Director.
Möbel Letz based in Zahna-Elster, Saxony-Anhalt, is a fast-growing e-commerce platform for branded furniture with its own nationwide logistics.
With a turnover of over €1.1 billion and nearly 7300 employees, the porta group is among the largest family-owned furniture firms in Germany. The acquisition improves the porta Group's position in the online furniture industry.
